Our clubs always found a way to the big races.
Taxis at midnight, borrowed cars, a floor to sleep on the night before. Township running clubs have travelled to South Africa’s great races on grit and good friends, often at real cost and real risk.

These are our people
Every pace, every age, every reason for running. Somebody here will be at the finish waiting for you.
What holds us together
Ubuntu on the road. Every runner here carries a piece of the crew, and the crew carries every runner home.
Our story
Taxis at midnight, borrowed cars, a floor to sleep on the night before. Township running clubs have travelled to South Africa’s great races on grit and good friends, often at real cost and real risk.
Run Mzansi is a 100% Black woman-owned sports travel company from Heidelberg, Gauteng. We put the whole journey in one place: safe transport, a good bed, people who know your name and a plan that works.
Our 2026/27 calendar runs from Kaapsehoop in November 2026 to the 100 km Cape100 in September 2027: Secunda, Two Oceans, the N12, Comrades and the Kruger Park in between, then across the border. You bring the legs. We will be at the finish, shouting your name.
Hear the crew
The log drum rolls, the crew claps along and the jacarandas do the rest. This is what race weekend feels like when you travel with us. Press play and turn it up.
Faces of the road

The 4 a.m. start
Move your light across the dark. That is what it feels like to spot your crew in a car park at 4 a.m.
What guides us
Every runner brings a different pace and reason. There is space for all of them.
Support matters before the start and after the finish, as much as on the route.
Celebrate the distance, the people and the courage it took to begin.
